Aloe Vera as Fertilizer
Aloe Vera has essential nutrients that improve soil and help plants grow. Aloe Vera leaves are rich in amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
Aloe Vera fertilizer adds organic matter to your soil, which chemical fertilizers do not do. It also improves the ability of soil to hold on to water.
Aloe Vera leaves have NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium), which boost plants, making them stronger. Stronger plants are better able to resist pests and diseases.
Aloe Vera leaves have growth hormones and enzymes that help plants absorb the nutrients that they need to grow strong.
How to Whip up Aloe Vera Fertilizer
Harvest a few larger Aloe Vera leaves. Cut out the thorns and chop the leaves in to smaller pieces. Blend the pieces of aloe vera leaf for a smooth texture.
Mix ten parts of water for every one part of Aloe Vera leaf gel. Your Aloe Vera fertilizer is ready.
How to Apply Aloe Vera Fertilizer
Spray it onto the leaves of the plants, or pour it directly to the base of each plant. You want rapid absorption.
The best time to apply Aloe Vera fertilizer is early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
You can apply it again after two months, as long as the plant is still in it's growth stage. If you are not ready to use the Aloe Vera Fertilizer, store it for a few days in a cool place. Don't wait too long to apply it or it might not be as effective.
How to Give Aloe Vera to Chickens
Select an Aloe Vera Leaf, slice off the skin and the thorny part, leaving only the inner leaf pulp. Add it to the water in the chicken drinker.
